CHENNAI: 587 new cases recorded in the State's Capital on 24th May 2020 (Yesterday) which increases the total case numbers above 10,000. The total number of cases in Chennai till yesterday is 10,576 which is almost 64% of the total cases in Tamil Nadu. The increase in cases has been consistent in Chennai and has the most number of cases in the state where Chengalpattu, Tiruvallur and Kancheepuram are next to it.
