Total Death in Tamil Nadu


TAMILNADU UPDATE: In the war with COVID-19, Tamil Nadu has been fighting very hard to send back the virus from the state. Eventhough the total number of cases increasing predominantly, the death rate is very low compared to other states with high number of cases. The state's total cases reached to 4058 and the total death till date is 33 which is 0.8% is the death rate of the state.

The state also has the most number of recovered cases in India. Around 1485 cases got discharged from the hospital till yesterday (05 May 2020). Among 4058 of total cases 2537 are only the active cases in Tamil Nadu. Chennai has the highest cases of 2008 and also has highest death of 20 till date.

Coimbatore - 01

Dindigul - 01

Kallakurichi - 01

Vellore - 01

Theni - 01

Thoothukudi - 01

*2 deaths cross notified to other states. #1 patient died after turning negative for infection.
