After the high court order, Tamil Nadu Police taking actions on People who are not wearing helmet whether it’s a driver or the person in the back seat.

Now, its official that everyone who riding or sitting behind should wear helmet.

Can’t we pay the fine without e-challan?

No, you can’t because the main purpose of e-challan is to generate a challan ID for each vehicle. You must have your challan ID to pay fine online.

No worries, you have another option but it’s not online. You should visit your nearest traffic police station and tell them regarding this. 

They have your vehicle details in their database.

They will ask your vehicle number to find your details and they will give a new e-challan where you will find the challan ID.

It’s Simple, Open the following website (Paytm) https://paytm.com/challan-bill-payment/chennai . If you have paytm app, the link will redirect you to the app platform.


Once you opened the link fill the Challan ID and Vehicle No and proceed to pay your traffic fine.

The best way to avoid paying fine is to wear helmet. It’s your life so don’t make others to care for your safety, you must care for your safety first.
